French air traffic controller strike ends

It was meant to last until the weekend, but it would seem that the French Government has capitulated to demands by strikers that their budget not be cut - despite the dire state of France's finances. The strike was set to worsen after Belgian traffic controllers said they would also strike - taking advantage of the chaos caused by the French.
