28 Jul - 28 Jul, 2018

Why June 28, 1969 marked the watershed of how gay and lesbian people have begun to perceive themselves in society. No more slaves, no more "wrong", no longer marginalized but from that day more full citizens, increasingly full and worthy part of society. Many countries, from Denmark in 1989, have recognized this dignity legitimizing and giving rights to forms of cohabitation accessible to families and homosexuals omogenitoriali. Since then much it has been accomplished, and in many Western countries in Europe and the Americas all the double equality is now recognized for all kinds of families.

It is time for Italy to move from winter of complete absence of rights for people Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex (LGBTI) in one of the families of homosexuals and omogenitoriali award season with the instrument of civil unions . An imperfect and incomplete tool, devoid of safeguards for the children of omogenitoriali families, but marking a fundamental basis for the protection and recognition.
