Gay Pride Paris should see over 650,000 people turn up to watch France’s largest gay pride march weave its way through the beautiful boulevards and streets of Paris. The Pride Paris Parade commences on Saturday at 2 pm at Place du 18 Juin 1940, by the Montparnesse-Bienvenue metro stop and works its way through the city along Boulevard du Montparnasse, Boulevard St-Michel, Boulevard St-Germain, eventually crossing the Seine at Pont de Sully, and finishing at Place de la Bastille around 5:30 pm. Numerous gay clubs, hotels, pubs, and restaurants will also be holding events and offering special promotions during Paris Gay Pride, especially the city’s tres gay Marais District.
Capital of elegance and style, Paris is a very grown-up city with plenty of superb museums and galleries to keep you busy. And some superb French food. The gay scene - from the Marais and beyond - is also pretty lively.
