French start-up proposes New York-Paris route

Travel Weekly, May 11

A new airline in France called Dreamjet has filed at the Transportation Department for approval to launch an all-business-class service.

The Paris-New York flights would operate on 757 aircraft.

Dreamjet, which is awaiting final approval from the French government, did not specify in its application which airports it would serve or the number of seats in its proposed configuration.

The airline requested expedited approval, saying it had a target launch date of June 2014.
