British Airways cuts leg room in Club Class

British Airways has launched a complete redesign of its Club Class (business class) cabins on short-haul aircraft (i.e. flights within Europe). An 'eye-level tablet holder' has been added, allowing you to affix your iPad to the seat in front and so watch your movies more easily. Leather upholstery has been added. LED lighting systems will make reading easier and a 4G broadband network is on the cards - hopefully to come soon.

But the change that is grabbing most of the headlines is a reduction in seat pitch - reducing legroom from 34 to 30 inches. If you're tall, that could spell less comfort on that flight from London to Barcelona Pride...
